Requested a more skilled stylist when I made my appointment for my sister's birthday... got a couple of girls with 0 skill on how to wrap a perm.... took the 2 of them 3 hours- did a supervisor come over and give them instruction, check the wrap , of course not they did not even know how to put the plastic bonnet on her head and didn't pat her dry so when she stood up from the shampoo bowl she was drenched..

refused the haircut didn't want to stay another 3 hours....also, they didn't even have any magazines or water available .. nor a style book in sight.... is this to make sure any screw ups are because you didn't explain exactly what you wanted?

Buyer beware.... now I know why the small salons are so ***

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $100.

Location: Valley Springs, California

Want a skilled stylist? Go to a salon.

Not a school. Common sense you'd think.

You went to a school, a SCHOOL, with STUDENTS who are still in the process of learning their technical skills. You know every single step to a perm?

You know how to do it so well, great then do it yourself! You want a more "skilled stylist", go to a salon next time, not a school where everyone is in a learning process, supporting one another, who surely doesn't need your negative attitude.

Thanks!

If you want a professional service done in a timely manner...go to a salon and pay the money...this is a school and students are learning...That is why you sign a paper before services are started to acknowledge that you have a student working on your hair...regardless of what 'skill' level you asked for! Our pet peave, as students, is a customer coming in for a full foil and style and they have to be somewhere in an hour and a half...a professional most likely would not be able to meet those expectations! Be realistic and realise where you are...you want fast and perfect everytime...go to a professional salon and pay for it!
